Hi, as the thread title suggests, this is the first time I'm looking for a decent pair of headphones. My budget is pretty tight, preferably in the $50 range, though I'd go as high as $75 if it's worth it. I'm looking for an IEM.
I wish I could tell you guys more, but I've read through many reviews on here and I'm not sure what a lot of the jargon means. I never really paid attention to the headphones I use, and I've had a Sony MDR-E10 for the past couple years. If it helps, I listen to pretty much all genres from Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart, Charley Patton, Nine Inch Nails, Chromatics, Tenacious D, The Rolling Stones, Mark Lanegan, Nick Cave, Notorious B.I.G., Johnny Cash, The White Stripes, Darc Mind, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, etc.
I guess for the most part I tend to focus on vocals, but I also like to listen to movie scores.
With my research, it looks like the MEElectronics A151 might be a good choice, but I've heard really good and some average things about it. I'd love to get some recommendations from you guys before I make a purchase. Feel free to ask me more questions to get a better idea of what I'm looking for. Thanks.
