Hi All,

I'm not a audiophile but a hardcore music enthusiast. I am looking to build a music server of some sort just to play streamed music like  Tidal / Spotify. So I am starting from scratch. Like I have to buy everything. At this point I have a vintage Sony amplifier which my dad got for me. Then I have around 4 Panasonic speakers

So after some search these are some of the options I found

1, Configure a Android box with Spotify and use a DAC and connect to Sony amplifier

2, Use Intel comptue stick http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/compute-stick/intel-compute-stick.html which runs Windows 10 and DAC and connect to Sony amplifier

3, Raspberry Pi 2 and modify and use a DAC and connect to Sony amplifier

I can't afford to spend heck load of money and another problem is its difficult to find most equipment here in India, If I'm importing it's crazy taxes so my options are limited.

My questions, any DAC recommendation, I could get most models of FiiO or iBasso here. Then if we are using Android or Windows or Raspberry Pi does it affect the SQ if we are using the DAC?
