Needs to go well with my Headphone amp & sound card =

• Little Dot 1+
• X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro

Main uses =

1. Music (Spotify)
2. Gaming.

 
I was recommended Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO Headset - (80 OHM version) as that would go better suited with my amp...any other suggestions?
 
my main concern is..i don't want to buy headphones that i wont be able to get full potential from my current setup if you know what i mean.

Why bother about the potential of your rig if you can get good or better sq for the same? Just saying. I find my CAL! very good for gaming and equally for music. Just ordered M50. Will review in a couple of days maybe. The DT770 is good too but I never got a chance to try. BTW, What kind of music you listen to? 
 
P.S. I tried Siberia V2 in past. For gaming it's good but for music it's total crap.

AKG K612pro, £112.
Open back, comfy, nice even response, great soundstage for gaming.

+1 on the AKG K612 Pro. Incredible headphone for the money.
 
If you want closed, you can get an AKG K550 / K551 well under your budget. Someone else mentioned Creative Aurvana Live! and they are also fantastic value for money at around £50.
 
You can also probablly pick up a used Beyerdynamic DT880 for less than £140

Are you deadset on closed headphones? I am a big fan of the DT-880s, the 250 ohm version should do fine for you.
