The Man Who Fell to Earth. 7.5/10. Liked it okay, liked David Bowie. Nice to watch, hasn't aged badly.

Great cinematography and good use of symbolism. Not sure how I feel about the storyline. But the actors were terrific and beautifully shot.

It was a great 'stupid action movie'. You guys are being too hard on it. It was obviously a big circle jerk for the action stars. I enjoyed it for what it was.
 
Really looking forward to the second one. Norris, and more Bruce and Arny.

Was it worse than "The Other Guys"?  I can't remember ever feeling less hope for humanity than the 45 minutes I spent with that movie.  Will Farrel should stop making comedies.  Everything Must Go is his only good movie IMO.  He even managed to ruin The Office. 
 
The Other Guys - 0/10 or maybe negative 2 out of ten.  Or negative 10 out of ten.  So bad it was insulting.

No, it was a bad 'stupid action movie'.  I grew up in the 80's/90's I know a good stupid action movie.  Starship Troopers, Rambo 2, Missing in Action/Delta Force, Predator, American Ninja, Under Siege, etc

The Expendables was a disappointment. I mean action movies has sucked so much in the last decade or two so I had hopes for some flair of the golden age. Action movies don´t have to be smart they have to be entertaining. Smartness is just a plus. A lot of modern directors believe they have to be smart. But Expendables was stupid and booring
 
Only recent action movie I would call a pure action movie that I liked has been the A-team. Statham has made some decent efforts as well.
Otherwise if we pick the revenge theme into it Liam Neeson kicks ass like crazy in Taken. He kicks ass in general but never so much as in that movie.

The Crank films are my favorite, modern' stupid action movies.

I liked Ferrel on SNL, esp. his GWB impression. He seems one-dimensional on film, but I have heard good things about Anchorman: Ron Burgundy. Been meaning to check it out, I hear there's a sequel coming. Talladega Nights anybody?

I like Farrell and Anchorman was really funny.  Like headphones, it's a matter of taste.

Talladega Nights is my favourite Will Farrell movie. Has not seen that many though. Only real bad one was Blades of Glory or what it was called. Late to tired to google. 
Reminds me a bit of Leslie Nielsen. Need to revisit the lethal weapons series. Those almost killed me when I was younger at least
