Is there solid evidence that smart phones cause morbidity or clearly safe?

Is it probable that in 10-20 years the incidence of cancer due to smart phones be prominent?

Not sure if this is where they would want this thread but oh well. Found this on the internet, dont know what the source is or if it's even real. My cell phone isn't killing me fast enough if it is at all.

Well we have a solid NO from the FDA.

That would be a Yes according to the WHO  (not the British rock band).

And a clear NO according to the NCI.  (not to be confused with the NSA or CSI)

Most information available says non-ionizing radiation does not increase cancer.  Cell phone frequencies are non-ionizing.  But the only clear and certain answer is: we don't know for sure.

Luckily most people don't hold their cell phones anywhere near their head anymore, they're too busy texting or browsing Facebook.

cellphone can clearly lead to morbidity, from all the people who are texting instead of driving. it's a very dangerous tech. about cancer, I feel like we already have enough very clear and verified opportunities to get some, not to really care about a probable +1.

yeah I'm an optimistic kind of guy ^_^.

Think of the bikers man, we don't have a metal protective cage to save us from stupid mistakes made by others.

Yes, this is totally me, I rarely make calls and primarily always text/browse Internet.

Case example is I just received new iPhone 6 Plus a couple of days ago and made maybe just one call.

My bestie actually thought my new iP6+ was more tablet than s.phone anyway so maybe Apple understand this and have designed to compensate?

Healthy twist is texting is more safer as phone is away from head I guess.
