(Reuters) - Clarence Clemons, the saxophone player in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, died on Saturday, according to media reports, almost a week after he had a stroke at his Florida home. He was 69.

Yeah, I just saw that when I pulled up the news on my computer.  Thanks for posting this information.  I takes a big man to belt out those notes like he did.  Unfortunately, I did hear this last week since his stroke a week ago, he did undergo 2 brain surgeries.  I figured things were pretty tough when I heard that.

A very sad day indeed. The man could sure play. He lived a good life though and gave a lot of pleasure to a lot of people. Not a bad epitaph. R.I.P. Clarence, you will not be forgotten.

…sigh…this is how I wanna remember "The Big Man" on E Street…wish the sound was better, but talk about the power and the glory…RIP…
