Ok.

So I am thinking about purchasingn a Decware CSP2+, but I have questions.

I am an engineer, but not of the electrical sort and am very confused.

Decware lists the CSP2+ on their website as being a Triode Headphone OTL (Output Transformerless) Amplifier.

My question is this, the amplifier has transformers in it, as stated by the build information on the bottom of its own page here:

http://www.decware.com/newsite/CSP2.html

So, how then is it classified as a
Circuit type   Single ended Class A Triode OTL

???????

Confused.....Please help

Long story short:

OTL means the amp does not have an output transformer.
OTL doesn't mean the amp does not have any transformer.
