So the Kann cube has 3 gain settings, are they only used when you aren't getting the volume you need? Is there a difference with say high volume in low gain or low volume in high gain? Hope that makes any sense
It's good practice to use the lowest gain that still gives you a loud enough sound. you'll get the best objective result that way in most cases.
But subjectively it's free for all. so long as you don't notice background hiss or distortions, you're your own boss.
