So I just got my Asgard today, and the volume knob is suspicious.
 
Laying flat, rotating the volume knob is smooth until 3:00. And then from 3:00 - 5:00 (max volume) there is significantly more resistance accompanied by a scrapping sound. Also, going from 7:00 (no volume) - 8:00 reveals the same issue, but not quite as significant as the end of the rotation.
 
Is this normal? I'd appreciate any feedback from past or present owners.

A scraping sound in that instance is not normal.
 
I'd phone the folks over at Schiit and ask what they recommend.
Maybe they can solve the issue without having you send back the amp.

Thanks, I emailed them and got a reply in just a few minutes!
 
He said it's definitely not normal and can be adjusted via 1/16 hex key. He was even nice enough to send me one!
