I quite wanted these headphones

but sadly got outbid. suxors, but thats the way of headfi.

I guess it dosnt matter that I wanted to listen to them and enjoy them, not simply turn a profit.

Yes it really is a shame that this cretin continues to invade our community.

I outed his most recent username yesterday afternoon, FFT, and he was promptly banned and removed from the system. Now we will just have to keep our eyes peeled for newly registered January 2009 users with the name Tai.

BTW, those Qualia's went from CD44hi to another buyer before they made it in to Tai's grubby hands.

And yes, $5k is a joke. He will be sitting on those for quite some time and doing his usual lowering the price by $100 every 30 days routine.

if I had known this guy had a rep here, I would certainly had let a mod know

he tried to sell me some HP2's that after googling, I found he had purchased for $200 cheaper only a few weeks prior. I didnt think much of it, since his audiogon feedback is so spotless.

he was using the FFT username, which I see is now banned. thankfully that voice in the back of my head told me "dont drop $1400 to a guy with 5 posts who is sending the offer via PM"


my sincerest thanks goes out to Raylinds, who took my last spare $1200 for his K1000's, which prevented me from making an impulse buy with this guy who obviously is playing people like me for fools.
