What's your source? Is it going to be your computer? If so if it was my money I'd much rather spent $85 on an E9. It has tons of power, much more than the E11 for sure.
If you use a computer as a source, you can then buy a nice DAC. The E7 or E10 would work. I'd save up a little more and get an ODAC though.

If you have a decent soundcard, you can get by with just that for awhile straight to the amp. People say soundcards are garbage, but the Realtek HD I have (and don't use) is ruler flat and sounds pretty good.
Some of the Creative and Asus cards have really good measurements too. Not sure which ones have a line out though. The Realtek chip on my laptop is awful though for whatever reason.

BTW for the price of the E17 you can have the E9+E10. Some soundcards actually sound better than the E10 though.

I can't seem to find the ODAC anywhere.

But E9 costs almost as much as E17

This would be the best way to go. I use just an E17 and I am very pleased. The E09k + the E17 would be a great way to go, and it's still only about $250 all said and done.

Is the e17+e09k better

I need confirmation that my choice is a good one.

I am thinking to buy the Matrix M-Stage with ODAC for my Q701. Is there anything better for the price?

Thank you.

That's what I use.

If the ODA was out I would be curious to test it, but otherwise I'm very happy with that setup.

I am using the Q701 with the asus essence STX and I love it. As soon as you lower the tremble and bring the bass up a tad they are pretty much flawless for classic rock and roll. I am still doing research on parts for the perfect dedicated DAC and headphone amp.

Sorry, I forget that not everyone here lives inside the USA

I guess we're lucky here and get the E9 for just $85USD!

E17 here is around $140 or so, E10 $55 or something like that.
