I'm interested...
Do you use the groundmaster to ground the PSM156?
Is the PSM connected to a wall outlet or power strip?
The groundmaster then into a second wall outlet or same strip as the PSM?

Or is the GM for grounding the RM?

Isn't it advised to use 2 GM ? One for their strips/psm's one for the RM?
THANKS
You can plug your PSM into anything. Most will prefer the wall I prefer mine into a UPS. The more groundmasters the better. You have to use a dedicated groundmaster for the PSM. If you want to add a routemaster which you ground all your equipment with then you need a groundmaster for it on it's own as well. You can just keep on adding more of those for even more grounding after that. It just depends on how far you think you need to go or what you need to start with. If I had clean power to start with I'm not sure I'd do all that I did.

Has anyone changed the male plug and IEC connectors on their Ultimate cable? Does it help?

I changed the IEC and found a nice difference and the mains, with not much difference (UK)
What IEC did you use (and mains if you changed that as well)?

My colleague in States changed not only plugs, but his Ultimate PC to DSP 4.1 + Fi50 plugs. Obvious the very first cord from the wall to Puritan influences the most, to his assessment it was like bedsheets were removed from the speakers:) Ultimate PC is very good, but there is always something better.

Hope it helps.

Why is the termination different on Ultimate vs standard?

I have three ultimate cables in the chain now. The ultimate cable continues to surprise me. What was first a tad bright with three Ultimates in the chain, now is perfectly natural in tone and timbre and that brightness dialed back down. I've been reminded 3 times now how important it is to burn in the Ultimate cables.
