I know they are crappy phones and most people here don't give a damn about them. But they're gifts from friends' so I have to go with them and I really need some help here.
Anyway there're two cables come with the headphones, one of them is faulty, the other one has mic in line, it works perfectly with my Ipad, but when I plug it into my cell phone (Nokia N9), the voice always come through the speaker instead of the cans. I tried everything still have no resolution. But it is not the case with the faulty cable.
Anyone had similar problems before?

I think it was to do with compatibility issues; Beats were meant to work on Apple products.

If you want a different cable, V moda sells their mic cables for $10 on their site. I'm sure the mic works with it, but I know that most cables with track control won't work on anything but Apple/Android devices.

I am not sure if Beats have their own proprietary cables that only work on the Beats models.
