James, I'm not sure if you mean Exediron to answer the question specifically, but the Sony Alpha NEX-5 probably has the biggest sensor so far crammed into a small camera. All you need to do is look for small lenses, which unfortunately not many exist yet for the NEX system.

Happened on this photo accidentally in post-processing.

All natural lens vignette (well, the corner anyway).

Redcarmoose, these past few photos of people are interesting.
Is this field work you are doing, or do you live there?

I just got back from taking some pictures today. I think some of them came out pretty good.

Did someone say high ISO?

Here's one at 12800.

And now for some decidedly low ISO.

Pentax K-x, Pentax 100mm 2.8 Macro WR.

@Exediron: Those high ISO shots are pretty intriguing. Do you know of any pocketable camera that's capable of taking decent high ISO pics?

Sorry, I don't really use pocketable cameras. A friend of mine who also primarily uses DSLRs has an LX-5 and likes it, but I don't know how well it handles high ISOs.

Revolink24:

Is the 12,800 shot a 100% crop, or the full scaled down image? If that's a crop from 100%, then it's looking pretty good. I'll fire back with my own super-high ISO shot as soon as I get back on my main computer.

EDIT: Since it's storming outside, I took a picture of something indoors. This particular object was overdue for a cleaning anyway, so I had it sitting out. How many people can tell what the entire object is?

I see your 12,800, and raise you 25,600. No noise reduction.

Mine's the full image scaled down. Here's the original on flickr: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1368/5117384439_3d60b1e96b_o.jpg

Not so nice, but it's pretty crazy for a year old $500 DSLR. It's something most of them don't even have, so I'm not complaining. I don't regularly use it though. Notice the EXIF data: 1/2500 sec shutter speed. That's quite unnecessary.

And from reading your profile, I'd hazard a guess at a very large bladed weapon.

Haven't posted here in a while.

How about some from the Bronx Zoo.

That would be a Snow Leopard behind a thick pane of dirty glass.
