My plan was to get an additional dt770's manufaktur, this time 250 ohm, this is because i want to take them on the road and mine are 600 ohm.
The new 770's will run me 330 euros, and then I though, there might be a portable that can take the 600 ohm load with grace...
Opinions are appreciated...

hmmmm.... well the Lisa III is the only one I would even attempt that with and even the Lisa will not drive those to potential. get the 250 ohms, or actually, does that mean you arent using an amp at all even for the 250ohms?? you'll want an amp anyway IMO

Nope - 'phones such as k340 (400ohm), and the Beyer 600ohm versions are beyond the scope of portable amps............tho' dt880/600 ran credibly (not optimally) with a Xin amp I no longer own. You have to remember that 'phones that can do BASS require juice to produce those tones that portable amps cannot provide. Forgeddaboutit
