I have to say that my Sennheiser PX100 from two years ago was my initiation into better headphones, since before I dabbled in numerous cheapy ear buds and clip ons and street style HPs.

I loved my PX100s, especially for portable use. The long cable however got caught numerous times and yanked out of my ipod, or yanked and extended the headphone resizing mechanism thingy. Anyway, a few months back, the sound from the headphones started cutting out from one side. Is there a way to fix this problem? I need to admit too that I have no experience with a soldering iron.

Thanks Head-fiers again for all your knowledge and willingness to help out.

Most of times some epoxy glue will do the trick. Use a bit of tape to hold the parts firmly together. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
