We are celebrating 12 years in business by introducing two new connector options for custom IEM cables: FLUSH 2-PIN and MICRO connectors for IEMs.

PS-EXO-NoAdapters-10.jpg

FLUSH 2-PIN
is an in-house designed permanent terminated connector compatible with any IEM or CIEM that feature non-recessed, fully flat/flush 2-pin sockets. Standout features include signature screw design, premium gold plated tellurium copper pins to maximize conductivity, PEEK insulation that isolates interference, and a 20% reduction in length over our connector lineup for improved size and comfort. Compatible with various IEMs brands, including 64 Audio, Fir Audio, and others. Available now at no additional cost for all custom cables.

MICRO is a new in-house designed adapter that provides the ability to easily swap connectors for another, offering users the flexibility of using their favorite cable(s) with multiple IEMs that have different connections.

Rather than develop a proprietary adapters-only connection system, we use the industry standard 0.78mm as the base for our MICRO connectors. Developed together with FLUSH 2-PIN, the pairing is the most convenient and reliable solution for versatility that is based on a popular and open-source connection while having the option to use MICRO whenever necessary. Perfect for cable rolling and testings with IEMs.

There is no need for tools nor multi-steps to insert/remove connectors. MICRO’s push-pull design makes swapping fast and easy at any given time. Simply insert one of the MICRO connectors into the FLUSH 2-pin (or any cable with 2-pin) and you’re done.

No compromises were made for our MICRO connectors. Both housing and connectors are made out of high grade gold plated tellurium copper, the most conductive copper based material known for audio applications that far exceeds conductivity rating found in other gold plated copper materials such as brass. We’ve added PEEK insulation into the mix for superior dielectric strength and heat resistance over connectors that utilize standard teflon as insulation. The laser engraved PS logo is facing front and center to make sure it is connected properly.

Guys, please, if you want to help the community please work towards a standard instead of each and every cable manufacturer coming up with your own ideas. It will simply backfire.

Please be a hero, get together with other manufacturers, discuss why a certain system should be embraced over the others, and then try to outdo the others with better materials and stuff instead.

Many tnx on behalf of possibly everyone in this fantastic hobby.

They are adapters for use with existing mmcx/ipx earphones so that you can use two pin cables.

This looks like an interesting new choice for IPX users. I have tried another option and the connection is sketchy, which is also reported by other users. My IPX IEMs sound completely different (better) with an upgraded cable, so I look forward to testing this.

Hi, would the mmcx connectors work with the recessed Sony iems with mmcx (ie the M9 Sony specifically) ?
Thanks !

Unfortunately, the recessed Sony IEMs have a slightly wider opening.
Interesting. Dose the connector works with any 2 pin cable?
Yes, MICRO connectors will work with any 0.78mm 2-pin cable.
