I have:

-PS3 Slim.
-Astro MixAmp (ON ITS OWN WITHOUT A40's) connected by USB and TOSLINK to my PS3.
-ATH-AD700's connected to the MixAmp via the AD700's own headphones jack.
-Official PS3 Wireless Bluetooth mic.

My PS3 is set up as follows:

Settings>Sound Settings>Audio Output Settings>Optical Digital>Dolby 5.1 Surround

Settings>Accessory Settings>Audio Device Settings>***problems occur here:***

When I select the input device as "Wireless Headset" (The OfficialPS3 mic), the output device automatically gets set as "Wireless Headset"
-When It is like this I can CHAT fine through the mic but cannot hear anyone else talking since the CHAT OUTPUT is the PS3 Mic(can still hear all game sounds).
When I select the input device as "Astro MixAmp" the output device automatically gets set as "Astro MixAmp"
-When it is like this I cannot talk into the mic(the mic symbol still appears next to my name in games such as MW2) but can hear other peoples chat and the game sounds through my AD700's

REMEMBER - I AM USING A SEPARATE MIC.

Help?
