hey wcy697, don't feel too down. They are sweet sounding, bass is deep and clean and probably more than I expected. I'm going to try them out for a few more days and possibly end up moving them on. I've always wanted a pair of these (especially the Baltic Sea iteration) and now that I have them... It's like the beautiful Audi you thought was the bomb, then found out the BMW was just a little more comfortable Just a simile, no harm intended. They are all I imagined and More, but I'm thinking that I'm more in the slightly warm/neutral camp. Keep in touch...

Thanks for checking Pod. I scourged their (NiceHCK) aliex store and couldn't find either. There's a newer model with same aesthetics, but I doubt the MMCX will fit AKGs.

I like it a lot…but it depends on your preference. It is slightly thicker sounding and upper treble is not splashy so it may not sound exciting at time.

Yeah, I was really surprised when this cable fit mine because as you know there is a slight variation in MMCX on the AKG's but I took my time pushing them on the post and have held well (knock on wood) Sorry I could not come through for ya and I hate these guys tried IMO to get too big too fast and think they did not have a good business plan or whatever ended their run Here are 3 more of their cables and they all look great and sound amazing
