Never work with children, animals, and Fiio cables with stiff earhooks.

Yes! The FH3 is so good after all these years. So detailed for the price. I went with the FHE version and it rocks hard! Still all the detail but with the elevated (yet tasteful) bass

KSC75 on Parts Express headband. Had to go OG KOSS, because it's the only Koss bright enough to work with the Hiby RS2.

Nice, to me the KSC with PE headband is so much better looking than the Porta Pro's  You inspired me to also give my canals a break at least for the morning as you see I have a decent backup for inner pleasure:grin:

Miniscule for me and I'd still take the look over a slight SQ difference in this price range even though the KSC with PE headband is a little more than the current Drop $29 on the PP's  Porta Pro's are the Vandersteen 2C's on this type over ear open:beerchug: I remember when they camee out and being the nut I am at audio I've suggested to a lot of friends back in the day who wanted good sound for a killa price I'd send them links/stores to pick up Porta Pros with like Sansa Clip or even pin key Nomads:grin:

How well do those Dunu tips control the sound signature of the Oracle?

The Dunu tips are great with the Oracles for me at least. They bring the mids forward just a bit, and keep the bass clean without taking it away, and add a small amount of sparkle in the upper treble. If you're treble sensitve though, the Dunus might not be for you as they do nothing to tame that region.

My hearing capability has transitioned over the decades (sirens and live concerts) and treble is one region that has suffered the most and a little boost on a darker set wouldn’t be bad for me

In that case, I would definitely recommend the S&S ear tips for you. If you end up trying them out, let me know how they worked for you.
