This  doesn't occur naturally by any means such as sunlight hitting the skin.
Light doesn't naturally hit the inside of our ears to help make us feel better such as light therapy for the eyes and skin in countries and cities that are dark seasonally.

You haven't been to scandinavia, have you? We have about 4-5 hours of sunlight a day during winter and that's just here in Denmark. Parts of Finland (where this product is from) are north of the arctic circle and thus don't see the sun for several months every winter. Winter depression and light therapy are real, but blasting light into the ears... Well, I remain sceptical.
