Just bought a pair of Logitech Ultimate Ears 700 and you can see the left driver is misaligned in its case.
The right one is centered perfectly, but the left one is somewhat hidden under the casing.

Would that affect sound quality in any perceivable amount? Haven't had a chance to really test it.
If its just cosmetic I might not bother with a replacement, but if it causes SQ problems I could likely swap for another pair, its only been a few days since I purchased these.
Would you guys ask for a replacement?

It looks to me the section off centre in your photo is actually meshing that protects dirt and wax going in the nozzle. If it is that will not effect the sound however there is a concern of..

1) it falling out completely
2) wax going in the armature

Please confirm it is indeed the actual driver or the meshing.

For example.

Thanks, it does make more sense that there is something to cover the actual driver. If it is the meshing it doesn't seem to move around, so it's unlikely to fall off. But these being so small it is hard to say whether there is a gap for any wax to get past.
