Just got my new HP910. Looks good, light weight, not as big as I thought it might be, very comfortable. Plugged it into my cheap receiver for a quick listen, and I'm at least 90% sure it's a keeper. I will be posting pics and updating my impressions as it burns in. Have a great 4th of July weekend everyone.

eBay - do an advanced search for "Philips Headphones" in the $38 to $42 price range. eBay sellers aren't listing it by model number.

I like my Phillips but find they are missing detail in the mids and highs and they a bit slow as compared to my AD700 but they are a very nice bassy phone and super comfortable. Their soundstage is not bad too but smaller than the AD700. For their price they are a good fit for my collection.

I just bought a pair from dweaver - they're a cut above the Grado SR80s at under half the price. They're not my DT880s, but they're a heck of a lot closer than I expected them to be!

I'm waiting for my Philips SHP8500 to arrive. Has anyone compared these 2? Is the 910 open or closed? Thanks.
