I haven't been able to find an authorized US dealer who has it stock as of yet.

a friend of mine has been using one for about 2 months now and has offered it to me several times to compare with my SXH1 so I guess I should do that. May take a week or so as I dont have much time just now but will try and get something posted.

Perreaux says to inquire with the Canadian distributor. This is the email I got from him:

Thank you for your e-mail regarding Perreaux brand. The SXH-2 just landed
in Canada. We still have SXH-1 available at recently lowered price of
$400.00 US Funds(including shipping).
The newer model SXH-2 cost is $500.00 US Funds(shipping prepaid) also
available for shipping.
