@longbowbbs

I have Roon working with the Bridge-ll…I needed to update my firmware so Roon could see the Bridge-ll.
Thanks very much!

Has anyone one here tried the bnc input yet?

If so what if anything did you notice better?

  Has anyone got the 2.02 firmware that they can send me? I have looked around everywhere and PS Audio do not have it either.

Thanks for the prompt to go out to PS Audio site and I found they had a new firmware for the PWD 2.9.7 for Roon Ready.  Also, when I unzipped the file, I notice one of the files still was from 2.02.  Have you tried the latest?

  My PWD is in the mail. Saw the 2.02 file but if you use the whole folder to put on an SD card, it will probably be the 2.97 firmware.

I just updated mine and so far listening to some jazz it has been very enjoyable.

I still have 2.4.3, just what my PWD came with. What sonic differences are there with the different firmwares?
TIA

The latest is supposively just Roon Ready. For some reason, there are sometimes noticeable change from the release. It is easy enough to try and if you don't like the latest, put the old back on the SD card and reboot your PWD.

I made sure that I purchased a mk1 upgraded to mk2 so that I could run 2.02. Just hope someone can provide it.

Heard some of the newer firmware is meant to be good too.

Let us know your impressions when you get it. I have a upgraded one as well.

So I turn my system on like I do every Sunday morning and notice no sound coming out of my right speaker :/
I plugged my right powered speaker into the left output and it worked. Then I tried different inputs into the PWD and the same remained.

So has anyone had this problem before? If so how much did the repair cost?
