Hey folks. I want to get new batteries for my Panasonic SL-CT710. Was wondering if any of you guys had experience with something like this. The batteries it came with are the Panasonic RP-BP61. Looking on their parts site for my player, they sell batteries labeled RP-BP61PYD, RP-BP61PYS11, and HHF-AZ01 (!!). To further complicate this, the two with model names similar to the first are different prices. huh. the HHF battery is a Ni-Mh instead of a Ni-Cad. IRC friends have posited that the players circuitry can probably charge the Ni-Mh, and if so, it's better. I'm confused as to why there are all these different batteries and am having trouble hunting down information on the web, so I hope someone here that had one of these PCDPs and has been keeping it working might have some insight. Thanks!
