They're just sitting in a drawer at the moment. Not too sure what to do with them. 

make open-back cans out of them! or dual driver something!. i have hptt-990s that i was thinking i could fit 2 divers in each cup. since there pretty large
cut the outer part of the driver membrane out and make tweeters for the dual driver headphones since vmoda has the "dual driver" separation ring

Im rather curious as to what they would sound like it you put them into an open back headphone carcass. Perhaps buy something cheap like some Superlux cans or something and stick the LP driver in there.

The M80 shell is quite a bit smaller. You wouldn't be able to fit a T50rp driver in there, but maybe an older model Fostex or SFI driver. Maybe.

I have some bad news, MK3 driver sounds nasty coz it utterly lacks dynamics.

I wonder what's the likelihood of those shells being fake... but eh, doesn't matter for this purpose I guess. If you've got all the parts, go ahead and give the transplant a try.
