Yet another Isa post from yours truly.
I know. I know. But I can’t help myself. And to think Isa can be had used for $375? Unreal bargain.
Current set up—
Isa (duh).
Sedna earfit short, large (black ones).
I’ve never used large eartips before, but combo of short, wide Isa nozzles necessitates for me.
Penon Mix cable, balanced.
Tried at least five quality cables with Isa and this is my favorite. Sound is full, bass snaps, highs sparkle, mids non-recessed. (A great cable, period.)
A&K se200. Power. Isa needs power. Not the most powerful dap but it’s up there.
Isa simply will not show its abilities without sufficient drive on tap.
On a budget (or not) Isa is an impeccable DD performer. But all three chain links are critical to getting there. Don’t have to be what works for me but experimentation is required. Cheers
