I was wondering what everyone's opinions are on what a Mid-Fi set up consists of and at what price range. I know people could list a thousand different combinations of amps, DACs and headphones so I'm more curious to know at what price point do you consider a set up hi end? Does it have to hit the $1,0000 mark?
 
I know this is very subjective but wondering if we could come to a general consensus.

Personally, I've got about $500 in my DAP, amp and headphones, and I'm happy with the results. Check my SIG for my gear.
