Hi,
I recently did op-amp rolling from the stocked op-amp to the OPA-627; however, the volume out was much lower. What's the problem? I having doubt that the OPA627 is suitable with this application. Please, give suggestion.

Well, what was the orginal op-amp part number???

Whatever it was, it likely had a much higher output current capability than the 627.

I now finished the modification on the XA20ES. I have just realized that the stok op-amps are double channel. I just installed 2 OPA-637 (45 dollars a pair) onto the browdog adaptor. I used a total of 4 OPA637 and now the XA20ES has excellent low and high. I could believe that simple modification like this can put my XA20ES to be very highend. Love the sound.
