Hello,
I am currently building a laptop, partly as a project to recycle a road case I have, but also so that I have something portable yet upgradeable that I can work on. I'd like to have audio so here is what I am asking.
Are there any PCBs, prebuilt or requiring self-assembly, that can run off of 12 volts of DC power? I want to limit power to around 20 watts as I need to be conservative with power consumption. The entire thing will be running on a battery pack with a 12V regulator running off of it.
Just about anything will work as long as tubes are not used and doesn't require me to solder integrated chips.
Also, what speakers can you guys recommend? I have enough room for up to four 3.5 inch speakers due to size constraints.
