My friend is in the market for some new cans, however after talking to her over the details on what she likes, i she rounded it to "on-ear, good bass response, clear sound, relatively good soundstage (for on-ear)" she didn't care if they were closed back or open, but I think she'd rather have a good bass so maybe focus on closed back headphones. I assume she wants a v-shaped headphone, but if you guys have anything to offer that isn't exactly that, then tell me!
She mostly listens to everything, but has a fondness of electronic music (think Aphex twin) and shoegaze
TL;DR : bassy but never muddy, good imaging, clear sound, on-ear.
Oh and she doesn't excersise or anything so isolation was that much of a priority

Thinksound on2 is the best on ear I've heard, and it's inexpensive. It also fits your friend's requirements quite nicely .
