LOT of Beats phones.......several of the synchronized diving girls specifically.  And just when I was starting to like that sport 
 
But seriously, it is interesting how things have turned back around.  In Bejing I don't remember a single over-the-ear phone on anyone-everything was IEM's.  I was actually shocked when I started seeing so many headphones being worn.

It's possible that athletes are starting to prefer over ear phones for better sound isolation and to block out the crowd in general. Personally, I feel that it makes them a look a bit too nonchalant :|

Just read a news article where british athletes are going to be prohibited from wearing Beats headphones because they allegedly violate some rule about not being able to display sponsorship during an olympic event (paraphrasing here) ...
