Hey all!

I recently acquired some etys er-4p, but they are hissing with my sony 615 (my shure e4cs did too), so I contemplate getting a portable for long trips. What are the amps that would help flesh out the sound and warm up the mids. Even though they have an EQ built-in, that can't seem to arrange the upper mids presentation : the more forward upper mids make everything thinner and slightly tilted up. My budget is about 75$, including shipping and taxes, so a common contender would be one of the older go-vibes (v5 or v6), since they are classified as quite bassy. Any suggestions?

I have a v5 (currently in the fs forum) and a pair of er-4p that should show up any day. I will let you know if there is any hiss with them. There was no hiss with my Shure E530.

GoVibe v5. No Hiss. Nice synergy. I use this combo pretty well daily.
