^ I do not know how it translates into a dB sensitivity rating but the KAEDE is certainly not among my most sensitive IEMs, its 8 ohm impedance notwithstanding.
Does anybody know what the sensitivity of the original Kaede is? I assumed that it was pretty high, but it seems that it is significantly less sensitive than TG334 which is admittedly, pretty sensitive already. Currently finding that I have to use a volume in the 40s whilst using Kaede with AK240 - just wondering if anybody else has experienced the same?

Thanks for this, although I have already seen these specs for Kaede Type II. So I assume that they are exactly the same for the original Kaede?
Yes the specs are the same as shown on the link http://ocharaku.jp/sound/service/
Kaede 1 is called "Maple" (as made from maple tree) scroll further down on the link
Just a quick question: do Ortofon ear tips fit Kaede?
Thanks!
IIRC, I tried them on my Kaede and they fit just fine. I never used the stock Complys.

There is no word as to how many units of the Type II would be released right? Can't find any info on that.
I suspect 200 or less released in batches of 100 - the serial number on mine is 61. So I reckon he will release mid next year another batch possibly, But Im only speculating
BTW Anyone is actually using the wooden box as a carrying case when going out?
