Ocharaku Flat-4 KAEDE (Maple)

Here's another track where the KAEDEs sound off; this, again, is partly (largely?) due to the recording itself where the guitar, in particular, is mastered rather poorly (too low in the mix), and because of this the KAEDEs make it sound even more 'distant'. My K3003s & HD800s, by contrast, manage to just about salvage this track: http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Purple+Haze/2qHtOa?src=5

Ladies and gentlemen, here is an example of cognitive dissonance in nature.

This wild sparrow is terribly stricken by the KAEDE, yet he cannot bring himself to completely give into the shill that is struggling to come to the surface. Thus, he posts a bad track for every few good ones he comes across.

Fascinating!

Well, I did admit I was an Ocharaku shill, didn't I? (see below)

Let's not forget our notorious grumpy sparrow dude has been rather cheerful recently because, among other things, he's been getting a generous commission from the sale of every single pair of Flat4s (be that SUI, KURO or KAEDE).

And to carry on with my relentless activity as an Ocharaku / Flat4 shill, here's yet another track where the KAEDEs perform brilliantly — layering, timbre and low-end extension stand out here: http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Best+Friend+Paranoia/54wQxK?src=5

The only trouble with that is I haven't actually heard the SUIs (or KUROs), and you must understand that even full-time shills (like me) now and again have a bit of a conscience & rigour left (read: I won't allow myself to tout the SUIs or KUROs because I haven't heard them). Interestingly enough, all I've been getting are the generous commissions I mentioned earlier but no extra complimentary sets of SUIs & KUROs — all I got was a free pair of KAEDEs.

That would be fine and dandy, if it wasn't in your very nature to aggressively go after shills. As you can't admonish yourself publicly (it would make you seem even more disturbed), you resort to this method.

Very true, but I've come to realise now, as they say—after all these years—, that "everyone has a price".

I'd have thought it would be worms and berries for you.

Ah well. Back to your regularly scheduled shilling/un-shilling.

Oh, but rest assured that the generous cheques I've been getting in the post lately—thanks to the stratospheric sales figures of Flat4s—have afforded me the luxury of getting plenty of worms, berries and even allowed me to have a date or twelve with the odd preeeetty hot sparrow chick here and there.

So talented the late Mr Farrokh Bulsara — absolutely wonderful job by the KAEDEs… yet again: http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Millonaire+Waltz/49VPdQ?src=5

And here my all-time favourite song by the band Farrokh Bulsara played in, rendered brilliantly by the KAEDEs: http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Death+On+Two+Legs+Dedicated+To/bCKPe?src=5

Rrrrrright… here's another one of those "not even my HD800s or K3003s" type tracks — absolutely outstanding rendering of this track by the KAEDEs (dynamics, detail retrieval, layering, space between the notes, timbre, all rendered extremely well for this 1973 live recording) : http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/The+Musical+Box/4yuBOQ?src=5

I know everyone's been missing those awfully insightful posts by music_4321 a hell of a lot.

The KAEDEs, once again, turning grumpy sparrows into jolly happy creatures — this track, particularly from 1:55 to 3:01, sounds phenomenal through these fine phones: http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Don+t+Stop+Believin/3WbLGn?src=5

I am happy the g-sparrow is enjoying these phones as much as I am(as far as I can tell). I will have to catch up on his music recommendations soon. In the meantime, I am quite surprised a certain sparrow equals (at least) the wiseness of the owl. Great music rec's. Thanks!

Could be because you're getting a deeper fit. I preferred wearing them both this way but the Kaede was simply too hot for me and too unforgiving on tracks.
