Hey guys. i came from having a totally neutral view on the audio world. Thats why i have used the Etymotic ER-4S, Noble 4U, and Logitech UE900s. However, due to their flat sound signatures i stopped enjoying the music and just listened for the detail and instrumemtation. So im aiming at getting a new iem, preferrably quad ba, that is more euphoric, emotional, and engaging while still being consodered as detailed and kind of neutral. Ive settled on two iems. The hem8 and the w40. Which one would you guys recommend? It doesnt have to be one of these two, but i purchased a balanced mmcx cable so id prefer it to have mmcx connectors. I listen to primarily rock music with a majority being alternative rock and psychadelic rock.
