Of late I started noticing better sound quality with Google Play Music streaming + Bose soundsport wireless. As we know it supports AAC codec. I use to listen to apple music as sound quality is better due to AAC format but now I am noticing better quality even with Google Play Music

I verified in chrome internals option and found that Google Play Music streaming is now in AAC format

Anyone able to see any difference especially with bluetooth headphones?

I too was able to confirm that the web player on my mac is AAC but for downloads on the android app the downloaded songs are still MP3 and not AAC, so it looks like they have not changed over to AAC across the board.
