Well, this time around Asashoryu cleaned up again on the 13th day--zensho (undefeated). Kaio is OK this time with ten wins so far, but no one can touch the yokozuna. Hamasho, just up from the juryo division is currently second with 11 wins. No prospects for promotion to Ozeki, so things are really pretty stable for now.

Yep, Asashoryu went zensho--the fifth time! He is getting very near Takanohana in total yusho!

Newcomer Homasho was runner-up....


Now all you head-fi sumo enthusiasts will have to wait for the January basho!
