So this is my situation:
 
I am very sensitive to noise in general. Im exposed to it everyday through my work at a grocery store. Loud kids with their families and all that. I Basically live in a village with only families with small kids.
 
When I come home I just want to shut down and not care about anything. Not hear anything. Problem is, Ive got a pair of HD650s which are not very isolating.
 
So, I travel with buss about two or three times a day, my neighbors are pretty loud sometimes and yeah, all that kind of stuff. Not anything REALLY loud but just small annoying things.
 
What headphone would you recommend? A noise-cancelling or just a good isolating one?

+1 to the HF5, if you don't mind in-ears. They've been invaluable the past three years at uni.

seconded - sound is good but a bit on the analytic side, isolation top notch. But one needs to get used to deep insertion in-ears.
