Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Sad, I am 2 weeks late to the headphone festival.... Missed the opportunity to meet my idol (not that I would recognise the wizard if I saw him).

I was in Taiwan yesterday ,in Bangkok now, be in Japan tomorrow, should be in Indonesia in November, Taiwan again in December, Singapore in March.  Not sure when I will be back in Malaysia.  If Jaben organizes a mini meet, I will be sure to attend.

Will there be a new model this weekend?

WCDchee, if someone says something long enough, it may eventually come true.

For example, I could repeatedly say, "It is going to rain....."       eventually it will rain, that is just nature at work

but that doesn't mean I know anything more about the weather than the next guy.

I Guess every should all start chanting then perhaps the more we say it the more likely it is to happen :p

Probably asked before,...is there noticeable difference in sound signature between the K10U/acrylic and K10UA/aluminum

Depends on who you ask. Both still sound like a K10. However, since the fit of the universal/aluminum can vary wildly from one person to another, some will say not much of a difference. Others may feel the aluminum is a touch brighter or has a bit less bass. I have both. For me, they're pretty close.

Having just watched the 'Brannan at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest' video, my guess is that, rather than a new model, Noble's next big announcement will be a roll-out across the entire range of the Noble spec'd drivers that've made their debut in the Katana.

Hmm. I'll say that the announcement will be a v2 of the FR and PR iems they did a while back. Don't think they will but they did sound cool and I'm sad I didn't pick one up when they were available.

I thought I read way back in the thread - or perhaps it was in an interview - that those models hadn't sold as well as expected, so that would be a big surprise. To me that is.
