Kaiser Encore or Katana. That´s the question. I really like what I read about both models. I won´t be able to audition any one of them, but if there´s any kind of Black Friday deal involving those IEMs, I will buy even if my wallet screams to me not to.
I´m a sucker for good bass and soundstage. That´s why I can´t put my TH900 down, even if I have more capable phones lying around. I like how even the smallest touch of the drum on a jazz record produces a physical feeling, even when it´s not loud at all. You can feel the sound.
My SE846 is bit like that, but they are too harsh and unrefined for me. I don´t like the over all sound. That´s why I want to upgrade. So what should I choose? Katana or Encore? I´m leaning against Encore...

Nicely done, love those Ghost Logos

I have the same 'dilemma' about which to choose as well. I'm just gonna have to go see Giselle and put up with the 5 hr round trip. Lol.
I was getting the gold logo cause I didn't understand what clear was. You posted a pic of it so I quickly changed it when I saw it! Preciate that john!Nicely done, love those Ghost Logos
This thread is considered to be the default extension thread for the newly launched K10 Encore or the new thread will be the official one for dedicated K10 Encore impressions?

This thread is pretty much anything Noble thread.... or anything kinda sorta related to Noble, kinda of a Noble lounge so to speak.
That being said, if you field a question here, you usually get a response as most folks here are owners of Noble products, and have ran the gauntlet of the ordering process....
so they have a good feel of what to expect etc etc

Beauties!
My custom Katana and the wife's custom Dulce Bass were delivered to Gisele and went to pick them up yesterday.
Briefly, this is my first custom iem and I am very impressed (I didn't expect otherwise really).
I never had imagined the sonic difference between universal and custom iems could be that big. I was expecting some overall improvement, yes, but not as much.
Soundstage is now even wider (!) and all bass and mid-bass frequencies are there and more prominent than with the universals (definitely because of the now much better fit and seal).
Even my wife, who is not into hi-fi at all, stayed listening to music with her new DB longer than me yesterday. Darn, I even had to set the table for dinner by myself, 'cause she was in listening bliss.
