I like this healthy competition I am seen lately on headfi. I am really hooked on it. Hopefully there is an introductory sale on this.

You say this, but the photo tells me otherwise.
I'm just kidding. But at $777 (basically $800), I'll have to step out. That's just too much even for consideration, but I'm sure someone will still step in line to buy this.

I wish it was $550 or $500. $777 is way too much for me

$777 is just the introductory price, expect it to go up to $900 - $1K after the pre-order stage has passed.

If this get good review matching with Beyer T1 my DACmini and Meier Concerto might be at risk. :D

Ps: Jack can you please tell me if you would recommend this amp for the T1?

I listen to the prototype at the RMAF just the silver model is working. The amp has plenty of gain and I barely have to turn up the volume knob. The glass top is certainly heavy and Jack was cleaning it by the time I meet him. He remembers me and it a transformer coupled tube amp.

WA6 looks a lot more solid and cost less.

True, but to me it looks like they tried to make this amp much more portable. For a WA6 with a built-in 32/192 DAC all in a small (portable) form factor, $780 really isn't too horrid. I would say at least drop it down to $749.

I don't think ~$30 is too big a deal at this scale. Besides, like grokit said, the price will only go up (substantially) since $777 is an introductory price, which is why I won't even bother with this.
