Thanks for sharing Sabre2. I've been listening a fair bit to music with the Plus5 off the Cayin i5 in the past couple of days.

Aside from the AK380Cu, LPG, Tera Player, HM901S and Calyx M, this has to be one of my favourite pairings. Of course, if one were to choose a DAP for travel purposes and battery life comes into play, then it would be a choice between the LPG, Tera and the i5.

As a precaution, I always have 2 DAPs with me along with 2 pairs of IEMs. Hence, there's an even chance that the i5 will travel with me.

Whilst the i5 is indeed excellent with DSD playback, it also shines with high res PCM files and well recorded and masters redbook files. Let's just say that the Plus5 is not wasted on the i5.

The Plus 5 has really raised the bar for IEMS for me. Really, really, really enjoying them. Much more than I thought I would.

BTW, whoever recced the spiral dots in ML, good fit, thanks. Slightly better than the L for me which is quite surprising as my ears aren't small.
