seems too big to be portable but seems also fantastic.

I guess the reason this was delays is because Lotoo wanted to use the AKM DAC.
Most likely they will use their own FPGA for resampling and use the AK4499EX as for DAC.

But... now that we see all needed infos displayed on the front screen, we wonder.... what the screen on top of the unit is for ?

Sadly it will not be cheap, I cannot release the actual price, but it is designed to be a statement product, a product that will result in a lot of other companies to emulate them.

I've seen a working unit (no in person). I guess they are just fine tunning the sound now. ( People who heard it can't even discuss its sound, lot of NDA).

I think think it is portable but more transportable. The handle you see is to give it a Nagra field recorder look.
The two companies have a long history together.
