I'm putting together my PPA and took a chance on the new knobs that DIYcable carries now. At $8 and $13 they are pretty reasonably priced (when talking about solid metal knobs at least). They are a very nice bead-blaster solid aluminum - I'm quite happy with them and can't wait for the rest of my PPA case parts. They are 30mm and 38mm and I'll be using them for input selection and volume on my PPA. Here they are:
