[Olias of Sunhillow]

Hi! Wondering if anyone has listened critically to the latest round of Gentle Giant remasters. I didn't buy the 35th Anniversary editions (largely based on negative reviews of the mastering jobs), but I'm considering buying the new "original master tape" remasters from Alucard Records. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think the originals are quite good.I always loved them.But Repertoire Records remasters I got a while ago are certainly better.Actually Repertoire doing a quite good job on all their releases as far as I can follow.Unfortunately they only have four albums:"Gentle Giant,Acquiring the Taste,Three Friends,Octopus."
I dont know the 35th Anniversary editions.I will have a look.
