New DT880's in the USA

Does anyone know if the new 880's are supposed to come with a 15' extension? I received mine today, but couldn't find the extension.

They do not come with an extension. Unfortunately, we did not know that we were going to receive the new version until we opened the box. Also, Beyerdynamic could not provide us ANY information prior to the delivery of these headphones. Sorry for the confusion but it's beyond our control.
