Hey guys,
I need some help figuring which way I should upgrade my system in terms of a source.
First, I was looking at a vintage Marantz CD40, but I've heard the reliability is low on the CDM4 due to age. Would this still be worth considering?
The second option is a Marantz CD5001
The third is getting a new DAC with a universal player. Currently I have an Entech 205.2, if I go with a new DAC how much would a substantial upgrade over it cost?
I really just need some direction I guess with what I should be considering. Thanks in advance guys.
