I think some just add drivers for the sake of it - marketing and to drive the prices up. I’d rather have 1 - 3 and so something that actually fits well, than 25 and a pain in my ears

It'd be awesome if someone who has listened to both the 1st and 2nd gen would make a comparison between them. I was just in the market for a used 1st gen, and have read mixed reviews on it lacking clarity/separation and the higher frequencies being a tad too sharp.. then the 2nd one came out. So I'm really interested to know how these aspects have changed on the 2nd gen. I've also heard the 1st gen had great musicality otherwise.
Gen 1 was great in its day but obsolete today. Gen 1 was $1,000, now you can get The Penon Globe which IMHO is better than the gen 1 for about $230.

Just tried my old Xelentos with Spin Fits CP100 Plus out of my Shanling M8 and O M G! These are completely different iems now.
The separation, especially layering are on a completely different level. The staging became bigger but the main improvement is in layering and dynamics.
Finally the vocals arent so laid back, they come more forward, they are louder and more emotional but the rest of the sounds stays in background which creates breathtaking layering.
The bass becomes very punchy and tightens up significantly. The staging isnt just oval, around a head, where everything plays on the same layer- its way more 3 dimentional.
It really sounds like listening to the music live. Its just mind boggling.

Not too much going on here, is it?

Well, I’ve just joined the (small) club.

Blessing 2 is better than the Xelento OG and 2. Xelentos are very nice but they lose to the todays chifi market. The times have changed.

Any comparisons between OG and 2? I cant find any fr of the new ones online.
Very very curious.
Thanks for your opinion.

I figured I posted in the wrong thread, so anyways, I can't delete this post now, so I edited it and all I got to say is I just got it in Europe and I'm really impressed how good it sounds and will post more details in Xelento topic in headphones thread. Feel free to delete this reply mods, if you want to.
